Citrus Growers Association Levy.
Since the introduction of the levy, we have often received queries from growers and exporters as to whether or not the levy is compulsory.
For the interest and information of all I have listed the steps taken by the CGA from the first appointment with Minister Didiza to explain why the CGA needed a statutory levy instead of the previous voluntary levy.
If there are any other questions you would like answered please contact the CGA either through our website or on 031-7652514.
For any questions on the levy and registration as an exporter, please contact robertm@cga.co.za
